Homeward Bound... well, almost

I said goodbye to my students this afternoon. My grade 4 girls cried. I lifted each of them to the Father as I hugged them goodbye. Oh, what a joy it was to be at that school. It was crazy at times and I never knew what class I might be teaching but I did know my 4th graders would be there to make me smile. I am now in a different city (after a 7 hour bus ride) on the first computer that overrides the things that are blocked so I am actually able to post on this blog for the first time all summer.

What a summer it has been...

I hope you find me different when I come home. I have really learned to focus on the Father. I fail over and over but He reminds me daily through the people and things around me to keep looking to Him. My brothers and sisters here are so zealous for people to know the truth. I have learned from them that it is not just about looking for opportunities but rather about making them. If our focus is constantly on the Father turning the conversation towards Him is no longer a burden or a difficulty.

I am in this city for three days and then I head towards the airport. I have done nothing in my own strength. It's not about me; It's about Him.
